Esther M. Hauler, 90, of Monroeville passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in the Norwalk Memorial Home in Norwalk.
She was born on April 7, 1933, in Bellevue, the daughter of Frank and Rose (Landoll) Brown.
Esther was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroeville, Monroeville American Legion Auxiliary, and TOPS. She worked for many years with GTE. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, growing African Violets, reading, cooking, baking her famous coffee cakes, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and playing cards.
She is survived by three children, Dennis (Gladys) Hauler of Monroeville, Sharon Kinney of Milan, and Dale (Tammy) Hauler of North Fairfield; eleven grandchildren, and twenty-six great grandchildren.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hauler; son, Mark Hauler; grandson, Steven Kinney; her parents; son-in-law, James Kinney; and her brother, Norbert Brown.
At Esther’s request, there will be no visitation and private services will be held for the family. The burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville is assisting the family with arrangements.
