William H. Baldwin, 75, was called home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2015. He was born September 15, 1939, third son to the late Susie J Baldwin and Daniel Baldwin, in Vallscreek, West Virginia.
He worked for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. He quietly did his job well, and then retired. He worked in various churches for years and often served as an usher. He mostly lived in Detroit, MI, and Sandusky, OH. He was always known as a sharp dresser, neat in clothing attire.
William leaves to cherish his memory: 3 brothers, Clarence Baldwin of Flint, MI, Clinton Baldwin of Detroit, MI, Arthur Baldwin of Las Vegas, NV; and many nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Baldwin; mother, Susie Baldwin; brother, Daniel Baldwin Jr.; and sisters, Delores Welch and Clara Wright.
Friends may call Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. until time of Military Service at 1:30 P.M. in the Giffin Chapel of the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Avenue. Sandusky. Chaplain Paul Birmingham will officiate. Burial will be in the Ohio Veterans Home Cemetery.
Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky is assisting the family with arrangements.
