Sue Ann (Milkie) Fairchild

Sue Ann Fairchild, 73, of Sandusky passed away late Wednesday evening, March 22, 2017 at The Meadows at Osborn Park following a brief illness.

She was born March 3, 1944 in Norwalk, Ohio and was a 1962 graduate of Monroeville High School. 

Sue Ann enjoyed arts and crafts and was a loyal Cleveland Indians fan.

She is survived by three daughters, Lisa (Tim) Wendel of Akron, Tina (Marc) Austin and Catherine (Joseph) Ponton, both of Sandusky; eight grandchildren, Ashley (Tom), Anita, Justin, Kevin (Tabby), Marc, Dustin, Amanda and Michael; ten great grandchildren plus one on the way; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 2009; her parents, Charles & Mary (Parcher) Milkie; one sister, Marilyn Herner; and one brother, Larry Milkie.

Friends may call Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  The Rev. Lenore Kure will officiate.  Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
