Mary Jane (Miller) Hohler

Mary Jane Hohler, 90, of Monroeville passed away Friday morning, January 29, 2016 in the Gaymont Nursing Home, Norwalk following a lengthy illness.

She was born January 19, 1926 in Monroeville, where she was a lifelong resident.  Mary Jane was a 1945 graduate of Monroeville High School and was a life time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville.  She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was an avid sports lover. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in law, Jane and Larry Allen and son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Kathy Hohler, all of Monroeville; grandsons, Eric (Becky) Allen of Canton, Ohio and Matthew Hohler of Virginia; granddaughters, Angie (Nick) Orth of Columbia, SC and Amber Hohler of Vermilion, Ohio and four great grandsons. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hohler; one son, Danny Hohler; parents, Louis and Louise (Miller) Miller; three sisters, Gladys Boehler, Martha Strayer and Mabel Miller, as well as one brother, Leonard Miller.

Friends may call Monday, February 1, 2016 from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 PM in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville.  Fr. Ronald Schock will officiate.  Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville.
