Linda L. "Penny" (Loe) Bright

Linda L. “Penny” Bright, 74, formerly of Sandusky passed away peacefully Saturday, September 23, 2017 at The Meadows at Osborn Park, Huron.

She was born in Sandusky on January 16, 1943 and was a 1961 graduate of Sandusky High School. Linda was an exceptionally gifted crafty person. She sewed, knitted, made floral decorations, and painted. Her brother, Dick, was the frequent recipient of her intricately knitted sweaters. Linda and her late husband Jerry owned the former Bright Delites, selling colorful handcrafted and painted bird houses. For the past ten years, Linda was an active resident at The Meadows.

She is survived by her brother, Richard “Dick” (Connie) Loe of Pensacola, Florida; one nephew, Brad (Amy) Loe of Manhattan, New York; one great niece, Olivia Loe; one aunt, Ann (Dick) LaFree of Indiana, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerold N. Bright in 2002 and her parents, Dale and Majorie (Gilbert) Loe.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Linda’s life on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 1:30 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Pastor Eric Lapata will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ohio Buckeye Location, 6155 Rockside Road, Suite 202, Independence, Ohio 44131. The family would especially like to thank the kind staff and caregivers at The Meadows of Osborn Park for their dedication.
